Service
Hazmat Bulk Transportation Coordination
Regulated bulk shipments, reviewed before placement so the carrier, equipment and paperwork match the material.
The purpose of this page
This page exists to explain what to submit for an operational review. A regulated shipment is not a form you fill in and forget — the shipping description, packing group, placarding and carrier authority all need to be consistent before anyone moves it.
PTC reviews the information you provide and identifies whether carriers in our network are positioned to handle the material on your lane. We do not accept a regulated load on the strength of a web form alone.
What we do not do
We do not classify your material for you, issue compliance determinations, or interpret regulations on your behalf. Those responsibilities sit with the shipper and its qualified advisors, working from current primary sources.
Who should inquire
Shippers of regulated bulk liquids and their logistics, EHS and procurement teams who already have classification information in hand or are working with their own advisors to produce it.
What we need from you
Send the details available now. These items help a coordinator evaluate the product, lane and equipment requirements.
- Proper shipping name, UN/NA number, hazard class and packing group as you have them documented
- Current safety data sheet
- Quantity per load and the tank type the material normally moves in
- Origin and destination with any site-specific carrier requirements
- Emergency response information your program requires to travel with the load
- Requested timing and whether the movement repeats
What we review before responding
- Carrier authority, endorsements and insurance for the material
- Equipment suitability and cleaning history
- Route and site restrictions affecting the lane
- Documentation and placarding responsibilities on each side
Equipment availability, timing and pricing are confirmed only after the shipment details and carrier fit have been reviewed.
How to request this service
- Send your details through the quote form, by email or by phone.
- A PTC coordinator reviews the product, lane and timing and comes back with questions if anything is unclear.

- Nothing moves until you approve it.
Frequently asked questions

- What if some classification information is missing?
- Send what you have and say what is outstanding. We will tell you what is still needed before the review can finish.
- Is this page regulatory guidance?
- No. It describes the information PTC needs in order to coordinate transportation.
