Food-Grade Bulk Transportation

Edible and food-grade bulk liquids, where wash history and handling requirements have to be settled before dispatch.

What this service covers

Food-grade bulk freight carries requirements that packaged freight does not. Wash history, prior product, seal procedure and documentation all have to line up with what your quality team expects, and they have to be agreed before a carrier is assigned rather than discovered at the loading rack.

PTC coordinates these movements through carriers in our network who run food-grade equipment. We collect your requirements in writing and confirm them against what the carrier can actually provide.

Kosher requirements

Kosher equipment is part of the bulk transportation landscape PTC works in. Kosher handling is not a blanket capability: it depends on the specific equipment, the wash facility and the certification your product requires. Tell us what your program requires and we will review whether we can coordinate it for your lane before anything is committed.

Who should inquire

Food and beverage manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, co-packers and their purchasing teams moving edible liquids in bulk.

What we need from you

Send the details available now. These items help a coordinator evaluate the product, lane and equipment requirements.

  • Product and whether it is food-grade, edible-oil, dairy or another category
  • Wash, prior-product and seal requirements your quality team applies
  • Whether Kosher or other certified handling is required
  • Origin and destination, including plant hours and appointment rules
  • Volume per load and expected frequency
  • Documentation you need to travel with the load

What we review before responding

Equipment availability, timing and pricing are confirmed only after the shipment details and carrier fit have been reviewed.

How to request this service

  1. Send your details through the quote form, by email or by phone.
  2. A PTC coordinator reviews the product, lane and timing and comes back with questions if anything is unclear.
  3. We identify carriers in our network positioned for the work and confirm what we can coordinate.
  4. Nothing moves until you approve it.

Frequently asked questions

Can PTC guarantee Kosher equipment?
Not in advance. Kosher handling depends on specific equipment and certification, so it is confirmed during review for your particular lane and product.
Who confirms the wash requirements?
You define them and we carry them into the carrier assignment in writing. We do not assume a standard wash is acceptable for your product.
Do you handle both single loads and ongoing programs?
Yes. Tell us which you are planning so the conversation starts in the right place.
