What we collect

When you submit a quote request, bid invitation or carrier inquiry, we store what you typed into the form:

• Your name, company, email address and, if you provide it, phone number
• The freight, lane, volume, timing and requirement details you enter
• For bid invitations: the opportunity summary, deadline and any link you supply
• For carriers: equipment, lanes and MC/USDOT information you enter

Basic technical information

Along with your request we record the page you submitted it from, the first page of our site you visited during that visit, the service page your request came from if you used one of those links, the referring website's domain, and the campaign parameters utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign when they are present in the link you arrived on. We do not keep full web addresses or the query string of the page you were on.

This information is saved as part of the same inquiry record as your contact details — it is not held separately — and it is visible only to PTC staff. The first-page and campaign values are also kept in your browser for the duration of your visit so they survive moving between our pages; they are cleared when you close the browser.

How we use it

To review your request, respond to it, and manage the resulting opportunity internally. That is the whole purpose.

Submitting a form does not enrol you in a marketing list. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties except where a carrier needs the operational details to move your freight, or where the law requires it.

Analytics

We count events such as a form being started or completed so we can see which pages help shippers reach us. These counts never include names, email addresses, phone numbers, freight descriptions or the links you submit.

Retention and access

Inquiries are kept for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep our own records. Access is limited to PTC staff.

Links you send us

If you include a bid package or procurement portal link, it is stored as text and opened by a person. Nothing is fetched or submitted automatically. Please do not send portal passwords through any form on this site.
